Captaris RightFax is the world leader in transfer of electronical documents and
network fax solutions. It provides the receiving and sending of electronical documents
from the desktop, CRM, ERP or other work applications or via e-mail by bringing
fax, e-mail and internet technologies together. The user can send faxes by the e-mail
system they use just like sending e-mails or via single button press with print-to-fax
management. During automatic collective fax transferes, each fax can be customly
formatted without user intervention.
RightFax is an easy to install, manage, maintain and use software as its server
and client modules fully meet all the requirements of Microsoft Application Specification
for Windows 2000. With its Windows based architecture, it's integrated with Active

GFI FaxMaker For Exchange/SMTP
FFaxmaker for Exchange/SMTP integrates with any of your SMTP servers at gateway
level and enables your clients to send faxes either by the e-mail program or the
client interface of the faxmaker. The incoming faxes will be received as e-mails
as usual.
Faxes can be sent and received via Outlook;
The user can send faxes either like sending e-mails or via writing to the FaxMaker
printer in the software used. Fax No or addressed defined at Outlook Contacts can
be entered into the Faxmaker screen that appears right after clicking the Send command.
The report for the fax job in line shall be received after the job is completed.
"Sending faxes through Outlook".
It doesn't matter which Windows software is used by the user.
The user only has to have the document created written by the Faxmaker printer.
The document prepared (such as a Word or Excel document) can be added via Outlook
to mail sending screen and sent to a Fax Number. The users can form their own Fax
Cover Page and even add their logos or signatures.
You don't need to create a separate address list for our fax addresses.
When used with Ms Exchange Server, "Business Fax" records can be used when sending
faxes, form a General Address list on the Exchange Server software and use this
address list throughout the company. This provides you with standardization, easy
access and use of current data. Besides all these, even if you disorderly send fax
and e-mail addresses in your announcements, this transfer shall be separated within
the Exchange Server and the faxes shall be sent over Faxmaker. For other e-mail
servers, it is possible to create address books with address entries in the form
of "faxno@faxmaker.com".
NetPrintQueue2FAX: Application integration and mail-address combination infrastructure
With the NetPrintQueue2FAX of GFI FAXmaker, your document can be correlated with
the fax number it contains and can be performed like a printing operation process.
With this feature, GFI Faxmaker enables the transmission of collective faxes by
providing its own infrastructure for different softwares. For example, your Accountancy
Accounts Agreement Form can be individually processed and delivered to multiple
customers. You can also use the standard mail combination feature in Office applications
with GFI Faxmaker.
Sending Faxes via Combination of Microsoft Office Mails
You can perform collective fax transmission with the document prepared by the mail
combination feature in Office softwares by using the data taken from the ODBC compatible
database. Fax distribution by using Office softwares.
Fax Notes
The file transfer in fax communication is the TIFF format in Faxmaker. The received
faxes can be rearranged either with Faxmaker softwares or a third generation software.
You can use ready signatures or use your own to add cliches such as "APPROVED" or
"SEEN" to ypur received faxes. They can be directed to other users when saved in
this way.
Communication Reports:
After the fax is sent, the communication report message is either sent to the user
via e-mail or printed via the defined printer by Faxmaker. This is a very detailed
report and can be customised for customers. GFI FAXmaker for Networks/SMTP
GFI FAXmaker for Networks/SMTP
Provides full e-mail integration. GFI FAXmaker for Networks/SMTP provides integration
to Lotus Notes or other e-mail softwares and enables you to use your own e-mail
software for fax communication without the requirement of any modifications on your
system. Since the sent and received faxes are kept in mail bozes, your e-mail server
can also become your fax archive.
If there is no e-mail server at your corporation, the FaxMaker will use its own
mail server to act as an e-mail server only for fax transmission.
Faxmaker for Networks / SMTP also has its own client software. Since the rules of
use of this client software is exactly the same as Ms Outlook, it can be used by
many users. GFI FAXmaker for Networks/SMTP accesses the Outlook Contacts and uses
the addresses just like they are its own and enable the e-mail/fax composition.
